Historic Preservation

Outside The Box delivers a wide range of services for the treatment of historic properties. These services include historic resource surveys, condition assessments with recommendations for stabilization, preservation, restoration, or rehabilitation to serve the client’s intended purpose for the property, HABS/HAER written and photographic documentation, National Register nominations, historic preservation consultations, and construction administration of work on historic properties. In addition, Outside The Box offers a full complement of field construction services for the treatment of historic properties. From stabilization to rehabilitation, Outside the Box has the expertise to see that the construction phase of your treatment project is completed according to the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.

Construction Management

Outside The Box delivers construction management services to clients both CONUS and OCONUS. We offer a broad range of pre-construction services and construction-related services for projects of varying scope, budget, schedule and complexity. Our construction service experts provide project planning, scheduling, estimating, project controls, risk and issue management, quality control, contract administration, and safety. We offer construction administration and inspection services, including acting as the Owner’s Representative, and coordinating between the owner and contractor.

Construction

As a General Contractor, we perform repairs, alterations, renovation, new construction, and historical restoration. We support the Federal government in sustainment, restoration, and modernization. Our construction expertise spans construction operations, large DB programs, and stand-alone projects, as well as different project delivery systems. We tailor our services to fit the clients’ needs, perform as a trusted partner, and ensure our clients achieve their missions and realize their visions.

Business Operations Consulting

Outside The Box works with Federal contractors to support their business operations through standard operating procedure development, business development, strategic planning, proposal preparation, support for administrative functions, and defining organizational structures, roles and responsibilities. Our business operations consulting is focused on generating greater value to the firm. We begin with understanding the customer’s business and long-term vision, and work to develop and implement the structure, management systems, and processes to ensure their success.

Environmental

Outside The Box offers environmental planning, compliance, and remediation services. Our experience includes Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), environmental investigation and analysis, site characterization, real estate advisory, RCRA/CERCLA/storage tank compliance, and remediation.
