Careers at Outside The Box

Build Your Career Around Work That Matters
Outside The Box LLC was founded on the belief that within every challenge lies a solution. That mindset shapes not only the work we deliver, but the people we bring onto our team. We are looking for skilled professionals who share our commitment to quality, integrity, and excellence in historic preservation, construction, and federal project delivery.
As a small, senior-led firm, we work closely with our team members and give them the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-value projects. Our founder has managed more than $1 billion in federal construction and preservation work for agencies including the National Park Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and General Services Administration. That experience informs the standards we bring to every project and the expectations we have for ourselves as a team.
Our work includes historic preservation, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and federal construction projects that demand sound judgment, technical expertise, and attention to detail. On our federal contracts, we pursue “Outstanding” performance ratings rather than settling for the industry standard of “Satisfactory.” We hold ourselves to that same standard in how we work with, support, and develop our employees.
